Enjoy this extraordinary tour and discover one of Mexico's most important natural beauties: the Cañón del Sumidero, an incredible 35 million year old geological fault whose walls reach more than a thousand meters above the water level.
We will take a boat tour through the majestic Sumidero Canyon which lasts about 2 hours, admiring beautiful waterfalls, impressive caves and walls and we will sail to discover its flora and fauna, such as crocodiles, spider monkeys and birds.
At the end of this experience, we will return to Chiapa de Corzo, declared Pueblo Mágico, to take a tour of the town center, where we recommend that you refresh yourself with an ancient drink called Pozol (cocoa water) typical of this place.
In the afternoon, return to San Cristobal de Las Casas and continue to the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán. During a trip to Chiapas you cannot miss the indigenous communities, located a few kilometers from San Cristóbal de las Casas, and live a mystical experience. We leave San Cristobal de las Casa and start with the community of San Juan Chamula, where we will visit the church, a very peculiar place whose interior cannot be photographed due to the beliefs of the indigenous people. The architecture of the temple is in colonial style, however, both the interior and exterior are painted white and the stone of the original construction has been completely covered. Inside the temple a very special mystical atmosphere is created: families gather in the church to perform rituals with candles, eggs, chickens and local drinks. These rituals are the product of the mixture of the evangelization with the beliefs prehispanic religious. We continue with the community of Zinacantán, famous for its textile production. In Zinacantán, traditional costumes are still preserved for daily use, showing deep roots in ancient customs. The weavers begin to embroider as children and do it as a game. Here we will visit a house of weaving artisans to admire the textile products and where we will be able to try the delicious handmade tortillas with "frijoles de olla" and have a "coffé de olla" together with the weavers.

San Cristóbal de Las Casas is considered one of the most beautiful and original cities in Mexico and Central America due to the evocative colonial image it has preserved in its historic center, you will fall in love with this city. Among its streets, where you can walk for hours and hours admiring the beautiful colonial buildings, stand out its Baroque and Neoclassical buildings, such as the Cathedral of San Cristóbal Mártir and the Ex-Convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Unmissable in San Cristóbal de las Casas is certainly its daily life still tied to tradition, with the market where the Tzeltales and Tzotziles arrive with their colorful clothes, coming from different communities to sell or exchange their products. You will love the popular festivals, ceremonies and processions that you can see in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
Possibility to know other places near the city such as Rancho Nuevo and its caves, learn more about the Mayan culture or visit the wonderful Palenque with a stop at the Agua Azul and Misol Há waterfalls or the beautiful Montebello Lakes near the border with Guatemala.
